第一次聽到 Getaway car 是在看 Miss Americana（有點像 Taylor Swift 的紀錄片），
隔了一陣子，爬了一些 youtube 對於這首歌的分析影片，有更全面的認識，於是希望記錄下來
P.S. 這篇主要在解碼 (decode) /分析這首歌的背景，不會著重在翻譯喔～

Taylor 並沒有明講這首歌是和誰的 breakup song，但大多網友/粉絲都認為是在講 Tom Hiddleston
Tom 其實就是 getaway car，
幫助 Taylor 逃離一段她滿想結束的感情之中，當時男友為 Calvin Harris（兩人交往 15 個月）
請感受一下 Calvin 的憤怒 (in twitter)，雖然後來好像刪文了，但網友早就截圖惹
雖然沒有明說，但應該滿明顯的，這邊的 you 就是在對 Taylor 說的吧，呵
這事件被吵得沸沸揚揚，新聞標題像是

這邊的 shades of gray，有印象 Taylor 在 Met Gala （時尚奧斯卡，紐約大都會藝術博物館每年以時尚為主題的慈善晚宴活動）所穿的一襲銀灰色造型嗎？
因為那一年 (2016) 的主題是 fashion in an age of technology，所以所有時尚名人都穿著銀灰色、金屬感的服裝亮相

上兩句應該滿明顯的，這邊的 him 就是 Taylor 想分的 Calvin

這兩句說明 Taylor 明白她和 Tom 的感情是沒辦法長久的

這邊所說到的 flying，記得上面說的各種新聞標題嗎？Taylor 和 Tom 那個夏天各種玩耍
先是在 Rhode island 的海灘被狗仔拍到，
然後一同去 Nashville 拜訪 Taylor's mum，而後再一起去英國拜訪 Tom's mum （下圖中）
接著，兩人去羅馬
然後是美國國慶 7/4，看到 Tom 穿的背心嗎？上面寫著 I love T.S. (就是 Taylor Swift
後來還有去澳洲，因為 Tom 的拍片需要。
好的，回到歌詞＞＜

這樣看到這句歌詞應該就會更了解吧，「想想我們是怎麼相遇的」，畢竟原本 Taylor 是和 Calvin 在一起的呀，
然後這一句 "It was the great escape, the prison break. The light of freedom on my face"，
Taylor 說她和 Calvin 分開像是 escape from prison（從監獄逃脫出來，呵，有點壞
接著這句 "It hit you like a shotgun shot to the heart"，似乎是在告訴我們，是 Taylor 而非 Tom 結束這段感情的。
再來是，

Bonnie & Clyde 是美國經濟大恐慌時期著名的鴛鴦大盜，兩人犯下無數搶劫，也在搶劫過程中殺死數人，
最後兩人被警方埋伏，當場斃命。
這裡， Taylor 把她和 Tom 比喻成這對鴛鴦大盜，但不一樣的是
Taylor 最後 switch to the other side 且 turn you in，（turn somebody in: 將某人送交警方

這邊應該就只是順著 Bonnie & Clyde 的故事寫下去，不是真實的 XD
怎麼可能 Taylor 偷 Tom 的錢？
講一點音樂好了科科，
"Nothing good starts in a getaway car" 貫穿了整首曲子，
有注意到嗎？都是高音的，有種刺激感，像是兩人一開始的戀情
但是在要結束的那一句 "Nothing good starts in a getaway car" 低八度，我感覺的到一點糾結、難過和不捨

這段唱了兩次，腦中的畫面是 Taylor 開著車揚長而去，
也在最後一句 said goodbye 的口氣中，感受到她真的和 Tom 道別了。
